DIPLOMA IN LIBRARY SCIENCE

Diploma in Library and Information Science(DLIS) is a one year program. The student, in this course, learns to catalogue, classify and store books and documents.

The eligibility to opt for this course is obtaining at least 50% marks in 10+2 board or equivalent level examinations from any recognised board or Institute. Some institutes have their own entrance exams which must be cleared if one wishes to enroll in the Diploma in Library and Information Science course.
